It is so easy to think with world vales. Jesus challenges us to begin to see the world in a whole new way. this happens when adopt His values and His way of thinking.

Because we are loved beyond our wildst dreams by Jesus, we are called to place Him First in our life so He can help hold our crazy lives together. We are also called to to take this love, that flows from our relationship with Christ, and spread it in our broken world.

Today's Gospel asks us to look deep into our hearts and see who Jesus is for us. The Gospel is Jesus, not just a moral code we need to live by. When we live the Gospel values we find life in Jesus and we help others find Jesus. the only way we can live Gospel values is by deepening our relation with Jesus. For life flows from this relation ship.

The Gospels are not out dated or old fashioned. They speak volumes to the problems of today and they are a guiding light through the darkness
