Jesus as priest, who is comforter, prophet who is calling us to strive harder. Also an idea on how to always make the homily fit what is happening in your life.

Jesus turns the values of the world upside down. The servant is the greatest. WHY? Because God takes the servant role upon Himself throughout all of history. He still serves us by constantly blessing us. When we serve we are like Jesus. It is important that when we serve we are doing God's will and not just trying to please everybody.

The Scriptures this week help us focus on Jesus our true treasure. The Trinity offers us the fullness of life if we are willing to place them first in our life. They also remind us that all things are possible for God, even our salvation.

The Scriptures today talk about the sacredness of marriage which includes the famiy. For there to be a healthy marriage and faily there must be good communication. Good communication with God (prayer) and then good communication with each other. I strongly encourage spouses to prayer together. Also children should pray with their parents.
